I have a passion for and commitment to empowering women . As women, we are responsible for wearing many hats and we often forget or don't know how to nurture and love ourselves. Having come through my own significant experiences has shaped who I am and gives me unique insight into the value of self-love and personal growth. I am honored to work with women to identify and access their best selves; moving from merely surviving to flourishing and thriving.
I am inspired by the works of Brene Brown, Harriet Lerner, Melodie Beatty, and Pia Mellody and draw on their research and wisdom in my work with women.
I help women individually and in groups who struggle with role identity, work-family balance, self-esteem, trauma, guilt, shame, depression/anxiety, domestic violence, toxic relationships, boundaries, grief, anger, and coping skills.

Teens
Having been a teen girl and now raising one myself, I am more and more compelled to work closely with this delicate population. Our teenage girls are under extreme pressure to be all things to all people. They are inundated with media, peer, male, parental, and school expectations and often lose their sense of self in trying to meet those demands.
This inner struggle can manifest in many ways such as risky behavior, defiance, poor grades, anger, withdrawal, relationship struggles, self-harm, and erratic behavior.
I work hard to build safety and trust with my teen clients. By following her lead, respecting her confidentiality and privacy, and teaching skills in a non-authoritative way, I can help young girls make sense of their world, struggles, and emotions. Through gentle education and acceptance, my teenage girls access their inner courage and strnegth and meet their goals while learning to love themselves and make healthy choices.
